According to Mehr News Agency, Kiomars Hassanpour, Director General of the Hormozgan State Penal Service, said: The case of smuggling 49 steel containers for storing liquefied gas worth 3 billion and 344 million rials was investigated in the third branch special for investigating violations of smuggling goods and currency of the Bandar Abbas State Penal Service.

The Director General of the Hormozgan State Penal Service added: Considering the available documents regarding the declaration of temporary entry of steel containers for storing liquefied gas and failure to settle with customs on the legal due date, in addition to a one-year ban on activity, the branch sentenced the offending company to pay a fine of 20 billion and 64 million rials.

Hassanpour said: The branch sentenced the second-tier offender to pay a fine of 6 billion and 522 million rials in addition to paying 3 billion and 521 million rials for the cost of the lost property.

The Director General of the Hormozgan State Penal Service added: The branch sentenced the offenders to pay a total of 30 billion and 107 million rials in fines.

Hassan Pour said: With the report from Hormozgan Customs regarding the import of steel containers holding liquefied gas and failure to pay by the due date, the case of this violation was sent for government sanctions.
